Family Time at Keats

The Davies extended family was all together at Keats for the first time in years and they wanted to capture it via photo (cannot really say film any more since most are digital but it just does not have the same ring). Geoff, Elenor (Brian's cousins) and their 3 kids were back from Kenya, Africa for the summer. Joy and Michael (Brian's cousins) and their kids were over from Victoria. It was great to visit with them as we do not get to see them very often. They are all excited about the soon to be new family member.

It was great to be at gorgeous Keats Island off the Sunshine coast this weekend as it was probably 10 degrees hotter in Abby. We lived in the water and enjoyed swimming with the kids. Someone put a thermometer in the ocean and it rated 23 C, which was probably a record for that area.

We all enjoyed the Gibbson fire works over the ocean Friday evening off the Davies deck. Then Saturday we took James' boat over to Gibbsons and were there to take in the parade. There were several beautiful antique cars and some interesting floats - you could tell it was small town.
